Scope of Works : The remains are thought to be a stone room belonging to a large mansion during the Ottoman period and a water channel belonging to the Byzantine period. – On the wall of the Byzantine period (at the latest 7th century), there are stonesman marks in Greek letters. The historical remains, which are thought to have been used as the ‘Water Channel’ during the Byzantine period, have been protected with skylight over the steel construction, and after the renovation works, they have been strengthened and revived and brought to the service of Istanbul University.
